In this presentation, we look at what it is that causes people to acquire power, plus where the Neuroscience of Power comes from. Power seeking indicates a risk of negative behaviors such as self interest and domination. What you really want from people is an outcome focus, not a power focus. You can assess for these characteristics before you hire, and it’s a good idea to do so.
