The SACS workforce planning model consists of 3 stages:

  • 1. Analysis of the current situation: We map out the existing competencies and skills of staff members in order to define succession paths. This includes determining benchmark information, environmental factors, demographics and skill gaps.
  • 2. Analysis of the desired situation: We identify the necessary competencies to achieve the strategic objectives of the organisation. This includes a close study of the strategic outlook, future staffing structure modelling, commercial dimensions and financial implications of the future workforce.
  • 3. Development of an HR strategy: Based on the current situation and the desired outcome, we develop a human resource strategy designed to achieve the desired state. This includes consideration of training, hiring, graduate programs, internships, volunteers and succession planning
