How to access guides and resources in our online Psychometric Testing Portal

Explainer videos, manuals and FAQ resources

When you’re viewing a candidate’s report, you might have questions about what their results mean.

The portal contains a large number of resources to support you as you utilise psychometric testing, including interpretive manuals, client FAQs, candidate FAQs, pricing, and many different explainer videos.

We’ve created a video guide to accessing these resources to help you make the most of them.

Making use of our extensive resources

Hi there, it’s Jade from SACS, here to explain the resources that are available to you on the portal.

Particularly as you begin to receive different candidate results, this will aid in your understanding of what each result means and aid in the interpretation as to how it may manifest in the workplace.

So you can access our resources either by the main tile here on the dashboard or on the left hand side toolbar.

You’ll be taken to our resources page and you can see we’ve got three areas of resources.

Interpreting assessment results

So our interpretive manuals – every type of assessment that we offer there is a supporting interpretive manual which will go through each single measure line by line. So an example of what our interpretive manual looks like is here.

And so we can see for the factor of conscientiousness we have an overall explanation and then we’ve got each particular facet, what the assessment means, what low is likely to indicate, what high is likely to indicate, and that follow-up behavioural question.

FAQs for clients and candidates

In terms of the pricing and frequently asked questions documents, we’ve got our standard pricing list in that tab and we’ve also got two FAQ documents.

The first is for yourself as a client and so it has information such as the number of questions in each assessment, the time that it should take candidates to complete, it has an example of the wording in the invitation email that candidates receive and it has some other handy tips and hints that you may not be aware of.

There’s also a candidate version of the FAQ document which answers questions such as how many tests do I need to do, how long will it take, who will see my results, can I complete this on a phone?

So they’re common questions that will help you to answer any inquiries that candidates have.

Explainer videos on key psychometric testing topics

We’ve also got a number of explainer videos. These videos cover really interesting topics such as mental health and psych testing, dyslexia and psych testing, does psych testing discriminate against minority groups, as well as explainer videos about our work-worded assessments, and why should you psych test candidates to begin with.

So we welcome you to explore the resources that are available.

We will keep adding to this as we continue, but of course you can always reach out to us at SACS through our dedicated assessments email address or feel free to call us on the number listed underneath this video.
